OFFER TO DONOGHUE.
TRAINER TO MILLIONAIRE. LONDON. Aug. 5. S. Donoghue, the jockey, emphatically denies the recent rumour of his impending retirement, which apparently arose from the fact that the well-known Lancashire millionaire racehorse owner, Mr. James White, invited Donoghue to becomo his private trainer. It is fully expected, however, that Donoghue will accept Mr. White's offer at such time as he does retire.
