The Supreme Court dismissed an indictment for manslaughter against the owners, builders, and architects of the Knickerbocker cinematograph theatre, Washiogtoo. which collapsed during a snowstorm in January last, involving the loss of over 100 lives. The indictment was dismissed on the ground that it was defective and insufficient, because it did not contain material and essential facts forming the basis of the alleged offence. An appeal will be taken to the Court of Appeals.
