HAMILTON IMPROVEMENTS.
COUNCIL'S LOAN PROPOSALS.
J [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Wednesday. The Hamilton Borough Council decided | to-night to ask tbe ratepayers to sanction '■ a loan of £80,000. Of this amount it is I proposed to spend £10,000 on kerbing and channelling, and bituminous footpaths, and ! the creater portion of the balance on bilurninoug-bo'ind roads. The Mayor, Mr. J. R. Fow, stated that if the proposals i were carried the main traffic roads would be the first to receive attention.
