A Maori named Tarei Toki, aged 35'; vi years, married, with five children, dropped dead last evening at Pakipaki, white ■'_ helping to save property from the" Pakipaki school, which was destroyed by fire, The outbreak is behoved to have been due to sparks from a fire left smoulder* ; ing after school was dismissed.
