Anderson, the well-known pen and pencil specialist, of Vulcan Lane, is quite an interesting experience. Here the city man in quest of a really reliable pen or pencil, or the seeker for an acceptable birthday or wedding gift of a useful kind, will find such au assortment of fountain pens and novel pencils awaiting selection as is not met with every day. First and foremost among the pencils is the " Eversharp,." a make that has quite captured the fancy of the public, for almost every man you meet nowadays, to say nothing of the ladies, carries an " Eversharp." The advantages claimed for this most popular pencil are that it is always sharp, that the lead is always of the same length, that it is economical in use, and that it is of very attractive appearance. " Eversharp " leads are of standard thickness and various' grades of black. Anderson's have a very large range of them, and can also readily replace any broken or missing part In addition to the ordinary " Eversharp "' are the " Evorsharp Checking pencils." These can be obtained at Anderson's also. They are filled with thick (but not clumsy) first-quality crayons, in six different colours, and will bo found invaluable for tallying and other purposes.
