KIRKWOOD'S BRILLIANCE.

HUTCHISON TWICE BEATEN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7.5 p.m.) LONDON, June 13. At an exhibition golf match at Glasgow, J. H. Kirkwood, the Australian, beat Jock Hutchison, the American holder*of the open championship, by two holes. Following the match Kirkwood and Hutchison played a stroke round on the Alexandra course. Kirkwood was in his most brilliant form, and returned a card of 68, compared with Hutchison's 73. The previous record for the course was 72.
