EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD HAULS CATCHES ON. BOTH COASTS. Exceptionally good hauls of fish hays been obtained this week by the trawler*:: over 1000 baskets having been landed'by • Sanford's fleet alone. ; > The James Cosgrove arrived fromtpr Bay of Plenty on Tuesday with a splendid '''[ catch of 600 baskets, while the Barcona, ? from the same trawling ground, landed over 300 baskets. Terakahi comprised most -' of these two hauls. The Thomas Currell, which has been operating on the west coast, returned to Onehunga last evening with a fine catch of over 400 baskets. Tho Countess, recently overhauled, made a short trip early in the week and returned with a moderate catch. ';.-;•■ There will probably be a scarcity oJ fish for a little while, as the weather is not';4t all promising now for trawling operations. >■ :
