Poincare, Prime Minister of France, ia to defer his statement on French policy < regarding Germany's reparation until ho returns from London. M. Poincare apparently wishes to have an understanding with Mr. Lloyd George. M. Poincaro ia to visit London for some days. He Uto arrive on June 17 and will lunch with Mr. Lloyd George at No, 10, Downing Street, on June 19. Mr. Lloyd George, in the House of Commons, replying to a question, said that in view of the recent exchange of Notes with the German Government, the question of a French advance into the Ruhr on June 15 did not at present arise. Poincare in a conversation with journalists, said that tht bankers' conference ended as he had expected. The bankers met too soon. The time was not yet ripe for talking of loans. Germany first should put her finances in order. France was willing that Germany should be granted a moratorium, but it was essential that the German Budget | and taxation should be controlled. France would not consent to a reduction of the German debt.
