The country passed through mild gold-bearing sandstone. Several email leaders Save crossed the tunnel, but were too small to be of any commercial value. . . Ohinemun.-The south drive is Jm 167 ft, having been extended lift for the week. The reef is the full width of the drive, and neither wall is showing. .The Quarts broken out is of a good description, »d carries plenty of manganese and other minerals. The assay results taken over the full width of drive are: At 144 ft, 8d per ton; at 149 ft, £1 10s 5d per ton; at 154 ft, £1 3s 6d per ton. The north drive has been extended 6ft. and is out a total distance of 100 ft. Ihe reef is the full width of drive, and neither wall is exposed.
