DAMAGED APPLE CARGOES.
INVESTIGATION BY EXPERTS Australian and N.Z- Cable Association. (Reed. 6.5 p m.) LONDON. May 29. Some of the Port Nicholson's apples are brown inside, similar to thoso consigned by the Armagh. Tho Overscan Farmers' Federation is conducting exhaustive inquiries in an endeavour to trace the cause. The air in the hold is being analysed and samples of tho apples are being submitted to the botanical exports of Cambridge University.
