WHEN BABY CRIES.
To the inexperienced a, baby's cry is J just a noise that ought to be quieted as ' soon as possible. But there is a great j deal of difference in the quality of the. various cries, of babyhood, anil in rc- I cognising the tone one is able to diagnose ; the cause. j l'irst of all, there is the ordinary pain- I e»s crying- i n which every he-id thy infant j includes to exercise its lungs.
