WOMAN HERMIT'S HOARD.

FLAT STREWN WITH COINS. Some curious discoveries were made at the flat at Hove, England, of Miss Sarah Parham, aged 74, whose death was inquired into at an inquest. Miss Parham had lived alone for 16 years. As she had not been seen for several days, the police entered the flat and found her lying dead. Her bed was littered with old clothes, and had not apparently been slept on for years. There were no table- and chairs. Hundreds of garments, ajkirts, blouses and underwear, were strewn about the place, and lying on the floors were 37 pennies. 266 halfpennies and 44 farthings. Silver and copper coins were mouldy with exposure to the air. A verdict of death from natural causes waa returned.
