WAX MATCH DANGER.
PROHIBITION SUGGESTED. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. May 13. Tho Shires Association Conference decided to ask the Federal Government to prohibit, the importation of wax matches and to permit the entry only of matchcs strikable upon a preparation attached to the container. It was stated that many fires, resulting in great damage, had been caused in the country through the use of wax matches. It was also decided to seek to secure a proclamation that bees are a nuisance in urban areas.
