RETURNED SOLDIERS' HALL.

OPENING AT KAWAKAWA. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] KAWAKAWA, Thursday. The Kawakawa Returned Soldiers' Hall was officially opened last evening by the Hon. C. J. Parr, Minister for Education, and Mr. Vernon Reed, M.P. The hall was built, in three days by returned men and Toluntary labour. Iti has the largest tiooi- space north of Whangarei. The opening ceremony took the form of a basket social, which realised £75. The function was a great success.
