NORTH SHORE REGATTA.
DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES. The distribution of the trophies, aggregating over £100 in value, in connection with the recent Northcote and Birkenhead Regatta, took place at a social gathering in the Northcote Masonic Hall last evening. The chairman of the Regatta Committer, Mr. A. E. Greenslade, acknowledged the support extended by the Borough Councils of Birkenhead and Northcote and by the residents of both districts. He referred in appreciative terms to the services rendered bv the secretary, Mr. Noel J. Campbell, and by the treasurer, Mr. A. Patterson. He said it was hoped to hold the regatta a month earlier next year. The prizes were handed to the winners by tfie Mayor of Northcote, Mr. W. E. Richardson. ______
