MATJNGAKIEKIE LADIES' CLUB. The L.G.U medal handicap played by members of the Maungakiekia Ladies' Golf Club at the Titirangi links. New Lynn, on Friday, was won by Mrs. Bannißter. 117, 35—83. ■ . , ;. , The first round of an eclectic match will be played to-morrow, players to choose their partners. Post entries will be received. A cne-dav open tournament is to be held by the club on Thursday. May 25. A 12-hole bogey handicap will be played in the morning, players to choose their partners. In the afternoon there will be an IS-hole medal handicap, partners to be drawn. Entries, with players' handicaps, close with the hon. secretary at 5 p.m. on Monday. May 22.
KOHIMARA'MA CLUB.
The Kohimararna Golf Club will open iU programme of competition matches this season on the club's links with a sealed handi* cap medal match on Saturday. May 20. Entries must be lodged with the secretary on or before Saturday. May 13. The committee has drawn up a comprehensive programme which it hopes to carry out dnruw the season.
