HOCKEY.
AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. The Executive Committee of the Auckland Hockey Association met last evening, Mr. L. C. Kent presiding. The *ction of tb« Emergency Committee in accepting the entrance of Areta Club and the promotion of the University juniors was confirmed. It was decided to accede to the request of the Training College and Grammar School Clubs for a postponement of their ma.tch.ea on May 20 and 27 respectively. Grouna fee s and pavilion rent were fixed at the same rate as last year. Owing to.'ul-neaitk Mr.. Munro tendered his resignation as a member of the Executive Committee, Mr. E. Watts being selected to fill the vacancy. After receipt of a report from the NewZealand Council, it was resolved to consider the proposal to eend a junior team to thrf South Island in Quest of the Junior Cup. f
