♦ MR. DAVID McNAMARA. [BY TCLEGBAEH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHEISTCHURCH. Tuesday. Mr. David McNwnara, retired farmer father of Sub-Inspector McNamara, of Wellington, died very Kuddenly last night. MR. CHARLES McCOY. [BT TELEGEAPH.—PB.ES3 ASSOCIATIOS.] CHRISTCHUECH. Tuesday. Mir. Charles McCoy, land a;id estate agent and sharebroker, died suddenly today, aged 58 years. He was w«ll known in cricketing circles, being a member of the Canterbury Cricket Association and the New Zealand Cricket Council. MR. F. J. WILSON. The death took place at his residence, Wellington, on Saturday morning of Mr! Frederick John Wilson, formerly solicitor to the Pnblic Trust Office. Mr Wilson had reached the advanced age of 91, having been born in 1831 at Clerkenwell, Lon. don. He was educated chiefly at Dalstoa, London, and landed in Melbourne in November, 1852. In 1856 he was employed bv the Victorian Government in devising a new svstem of deeds registration, and carried out important duties in connection with the svstem for the Government. He was on the staff of Messrs. Smith and Willan. of Melbourne, for five years, and came with Mr. James Smith to Dunedin in 1853 as managing clerk. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1872, and practised in both branctfs of the profession in the Dunstan district from 1872 to 1886. In the latter year ha was offered the first solicitorshirj of the Public Trust Office, in which be acted from 1886 to 1909. At the age of 78 he was retired on pension. He was twice married. By his first wife he had nine children, of whom eight are living—five sons and three daughters. They include Mr. H. W. Wilson, formerly town clerk of Auckland and now town clerk at Northcote. The second Mrs. Wilson and one daughter by the marriage survive him.
