' ■♦ FORTHCOMING EXHIBITIONS. The annual meeting of the Auckland Provincial Industrial Association was held yesterday in the Employers' Association's rooms, Mr. F. M. Hills presiding over an attendance of 25. The thirty-fifth annual report, which was published in booklet form, was taken as read. The report stated that the membership of the association was 187. The cash statement for the year ended Marjh 31. 1922, showed a debit balance of £121 7s lid. - ■ The following officers, were elected: — President,, Mr. J. A. C. AUum; vicepresidents, Messrs. : J." T. Garland, L. Joll, F. W. Jones, A. J. Kemp, S E. Lamb, A. McOoll, E. V. Miller, C. B. Plummer, and J. Wilson ; executive committee, president, vice-presi-dents, and' Messrs. L. • Joll, B. G. Booth, A. J. Kemp. ' ■ » The secretary reported that the association had been allotted a shed in the A. and P. winter show. A plan of the floor space was being prepared, and the frontage, with a depth of 7ft. to 10ft., could be obtained for £1 a foot. The Industrial Association of Canterbury wrote advising that an exhibition of New Zealand-made goods would be held in Christchureh from November ,13 to December 9 in the King Edward Barracks. ; There would be approximately 15.000 ft. of space available for exhibition purposes, and the committee had in view another ' 12.000 ft. for a machinery exhibition close by. The ground plan was being perpared, and the corporation invited inquiries and suggestions, and sought assistance from the association.
