Ths total deposits paid into .'the Dunedin (not the Post Office) Savings Bank for the year ended March 31, were £395,109, against £530.346 in the previous year. The falling off is due to tho depression. The withdrawals totalled £359,722, against £409,645. The sum afc credit of 6396 depositors is £690,407. lbs net profit was £38,151. The number o* depositors has increased from 2532 i* 1915 to 6396.
