PLACING ON RETIRED LIST. PECULIARITIES OF TEMPER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 P.m.) LONDON. April 29. An Order-in-Council authorises the Admiralty to place on the retired list, irrespective of ago or servico, such officers as are considered unfit for further service owing to peculiarity of temper and other defects not amounting to misconduct or caused by intemperate habits.
