THE SAVAGE CLUB.
»» — NEW MEETING PLACE. The annual meeting of the Auckland Savage Club was held on Saturday. Tlta annual report and baJance-sheet showed that a most successful season had been experienced. The committee's recommendation that the meeting-place be changed wag adopted, and the meetings in future will be held at the Scots' Hall, Symonds Street. A motion was passed appointing the three last retiring presidents er officio members of the General Committee The following officers were elected':— President, Mr. A. M. Bartley ;•' vicepresidents, Messrs. H. Haines, J. H.. Hutchison, V. Hunt and E. W. Evans; Committee, Messrs. G. W. Allsop, H. McCov. A. P.. Chappell, T. T. Garland, J. W. Hardley, H. M GUI, A. Gilbert,'A L Parmer, C. R. Massey, and N. Mcßobie; treasurer, Mr. R. J. Lusher; auditor, Mr. R. H. Insullj conductor of orchestra, Mr.. Colin Mutton j conductor, of choir, Mr. W. Pringla Appointments of the secretary and' pianists will be made at a special meeting of the committee.
