—.—♦ PRE-WAR CONDITIONS. REINSTATEMENT OPPOSED. 4, and N.Z. LONDON. April 25. A petition is being extensively signed requesting the Stock .Exchange Committee not to permit the reintroduction of the pre-war contango system. The petition is based on the ground that provision for unlimited credit to the public is dangerous in times of political and financial stress.
