LUCAS THE CHAMPION, [BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, Wednesday The Australasian draughts tourney was brought to a conclusion . to-night. The. final round between Borehara an 3 Lucas wa a well contested, the latter winning the coveted honour. Lucas, who is a Dunedin man, has been connected with the Kama for many years. He won the New Zealand championship in 1903 and was runner-un in the following tournament at OamMtt. Boreham, who is also from Dun edin, is an experienced player, having been New Zealand champion on severe occasions. In 1910 he won the Australasian championship at Brisbane, and it has re-mained-in the Dominion Tip to the pre-; sent.

The handicap match was won by G, A. Brown.
