NIAGARA'S ROUGH TRIP.
A PASSENGER INJURED.
Tho voyage of the R.M.S. Niagara from Sydney to Auckland was a particularly uncomfortable one for the passengors owing to tho boisterous weather encountered soon after leaving tho .Australian port, and ono of the passengors, Mr. A. H. Wrightson, the well-known sheep farmer of Puketutu, near To Kuiti, sustained painful injuries. Just before dinner on Friday evening last, Mr. Wrightson and a number of fellow passengers were sitting in tho smoking room when tho vessel gave a violent lurch in a heavy sea. Several of the passengers, and some of the tables and chairs which wero wrenched from their fixtures, woro thrown against tho outer wall of the smoking room. Mr. Wrightson was precipitated head first against the wall, fracturing his left collar bone. Tho others received a severe shaking but escaped without serious injury. Mr. Wrightson's shoulder f was set by the medical officer of the ship.
