FEDERAL INCOME TAX
DIFFERENTIATION URGED. REPORT BY COMMISSION. Australian and N.Z Cable Association. (Reed. 11.20 cm.) MELBOURNE. April 21. The second report of the Taxation Commission recommends that differentiation be j made, between incomes derived from per- ! sonal exertion and those derived from property, with a discount of 15 per cent, allowed on the former in the event of necessity in raising the rat e of taxation. The report recommends the imposition of a tax on incomes derived from sources ! outside Australia, or a t»J on the profits of sales abroad of exports from Australia.
