END OF NEVANAS CASE. ONE PARTNER FOUND GUILTY Australian and N.Z. Cabin Association. (Seed. 6.6 pjn.) LONDON. April 7. On charges of fraudulently converting Government moneys, Sydney Vigars Nevanas, a member of the firm of Nevanas and Company, Limited, which formerly acted as Government meat agents, was found not guilty, and was discharged. His partner, William Henry Cuffin, was found guilty of fraud, but not guilty of conspiracy. He was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment in the second division.
