The lato Sir Thomas Sutherland left an estate valued c,t £723,000. The bequests include £10,000 and half the proceeds of the sale of his London house, furniture, and motor-car, to his woman
secretary. Sir Thomas left over £400,000 to King Edward's Hospital Fund.
