DAIRYING ADVISORY BOARD. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.
J (Reed. 5 p.m.) BRISBANE, March 26. A conference of representatives of the j dairying industry has opened, at which j the Premier elaborated the Government's ! policy for the stabilization of primary inI dustries. The conference decided to appoint an advisory board for the dairying industry with power to appoint an ; expert administrative staff. The cost during the first year will defrayed by the Government. After that the cost will be contributed by individual suppliers. The board will consist of seven | members, five appointed by the conferI ence and two by the Government. i
MEAT MARKET DEPRESSION. A. ard N.Z. MELBOURNE. March 26.
The Federal Cabinet will next week take steps to assist graziors in consequence of depression in the local meat market, especially in Queensland.
