AEROPLANE AT ROTORUA.
A FORCED LANDING,
IB! TKLEOBAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ROTOHUA, Sunday. An aeroplane, piloted by Captain Brake, made an ascent over the lakes yesterday. During a flight in the evening slight mechanical engine trouble was experienced, and the pilot, who had two lady passengers, had to make a forced landing. He attempted to make the landing place Arawa Park, but realising the possible risk of contact with electric power wires, he had to change his intention and took the sand banks at the back of the Postmaster Bath. The machine was not damaged.
