WHISKY CARGO SEIZED.

The British auxiliary schooner Bertha A, carrying a cargo of 116,000 quarts of whisky, valued at £120,000, when lying at anchor off Highland Light on the American Coast, was rammed in a fog by the British steamer Sheaf Field. The Bertha A was damaged considerably and was forced to go within the three-mile limit for repairs. Federal agents boarded her from a cutter patrol, and immediately " arrested " her and confiscated the wbolo of her cargo.
