" EXPERIENCE." An unusual attraction will be provided at the Tivoli Theatre on Saturday, when a spectacular production, entitled " Experience," will be screened, It is the story of a young man who went to a big / city, heard the call of pleasure, and trod o the road to destruction. " Experienco " is a romance of modem adventurous youth, 4 with its hopes, temptations, failures, tri- i umphs, and love. The scenes in the pro- 7 duction cover hamlet and city, home and j, pleasure-palace, green fields and under- J world dens. In this drama, which is i moulded of every breed of human clay, youth takes 'his fling) drinks all the jov of » life and finds the dregs. Then he stumbles, , falls, and sinks so deep that only love can I save him. The setting of the drama is J claimed to be a masterpiece. Thousands of people, hundreds of costly gowns, and o gorgeous scenery make a splendid back- I ground for this pulsating story of youth | and love. Special mention may be made of such scenes as the garden where dreams i begin, the revels of the primrose path, £ the corridors of chance, the place of j forgotten ilopGs, the houso of lost souls* g and the land that love calls homo. The _ young actor, Richard Barthelmess, ap- j pears as the central character, Youth, and , Miss Marjorie Daw fills the role of Love. They are supported by a strong company, s In addition, the programme will include j the second of the HJrold Lloyd comedies, , entitled "I Do." QUEEN'S THEA7RE, ' "Seeda of Vengeance," un adaptation ! of the novel "The Sowing of Alderson ; Cree," by Margaret Prescott Montague, will be shown for the first time in.Auckland at the Queen'B Theatre on Friday. Xliis fine drama of human life is said to be full of thrilling and emotional incidents, and has all the qualities which make for the great success which the book achieved. ORGAN RECITAL. The programme :for the municipal organ recital in the Town Hail on Saturday o\ ening next has been selected from works by Corelli, Basil Harwood, Wolstenholme, and Brahms. Mr. W. McKinlay will be tbe vocalist.
