MEMORIAL TO SOLDIERS.
WHAKAPARA HALL OPENED. [by telegraph—own correspondent.] WHANGABEI. Thursday.
The Wbakapara soldiers' memorial hall was opened this afternoon by tho Mayor of Whangarej, Mr. D. A. McLean. A roll of honour was unveiled by Colonel C. E. R. Mackesy. Mr. Vernon Reed, M.P., also addressed the gathering. The hall is jk very fine and commodious building.
