Doleg?ies representing brewery workers in all the principal centres of the Dominion discussed the formation of a federation embracing the various unions. Mr. B. Martin, Auckland, was appointed to the chair. The conference unanimously decided that a federation should be formed covering brewery, aerated water, and related trades, and a set of rules was drafted The present unions, it is stated, comprise about a third of the workers in the trade, approximately 1000 in number, btens will be taken to organise the whole of the workers throughout the Dominion, the offices of the federation will be .owed for the next two years in Christchurch.
