CAR AND GIG COLLIDE.

GIRL DIES FROM INJURIES. [by telegram.—press association.] GISBORNE, Sunday. A collision occurred in town on Friday evening between a motor-car driven by Mr. A. E. Bourgeois and a gig occupied by Miss Kathleen Joyce Brown, aged 17, and a you'.h named Higham. The occupants of the gig were thrown out, and Miss Brown was removed to the hospital suffering from concussion. She died last night without regaining consciousness.
