Everett Green, has supplied a story which will mow than satisfy the expectations of ©von his most ardent admirers. Throbbing with life and vigour and tile swift play of human emotions, the story yet breathes an atmosphere of brooding mystery, of spiritual struggle and desperate resistance to unseen sinister forces, which baffles yet intrigues the reader. And through it all the figures of the principal characters move clear and distinct, vivid personalities seen through.a fog of mystery and intrigue. The compelling interest of this unusual romance is further enhanced by the love story, which winds like a/silver thread through a pattern of weird and,complicated design.
