MR. MACLAREN'S TEAM.
SYDNEY MATCHES WANTED. A. uA N.Z. SYDNEY, Feb. 21. At a meeting of the New South Wales Cricket Association, a letter was read from Mr. A. C. Maclaren, stating that he would like the team of amateurs that ha is bringing to New Zealand to play in Sydney before going to New Zealand and after returning thence. The chairman of the executive Btated that a copy of a letter had beon given to the secretary of the Board of Control, so that the matter could be dealt with by the board, which governed international matches. Hq added that the New Zealand Cricket Council was negotiating with the board regarding the torn-.
