NOMINATION OF OFFICERS.

Nominations for the positions of president, vice-president, and members of the council of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce closed yesterday. Mr. H. W. Hudson was nominated as president, and Mr. R. L. Stewart vice-president. The following were nominated as members of the council:—Messrs. A. G. Limn, Robert Burns, J. A. C. Allum, J. F. Ewen, and W. A. Phillips. As ihe number of nominations in each instance is equal to the number of vacancies, no election will take place. The annual meeting will be held • next Tuesday. i
