The Arahura arrived from tho East Coast yesterday afternoon and berthed at tho King's Wharf. She is timed to eafl for Gisborno and Napier at 3 p.m. to-morrow. The Kaiapoi is due this morning from westport and will berth at the Central Wharf to dischargo her cargo of coal. The Australian steamer Omana is due today from Newcastle. She will berth at the Central Wharf to discharge the coal portion of her cargo and to load a part cargo of timber. Afterwards she will go to Opua to discharge about 6000 sleepers and complete loading a cargo of timber for Sydncv. The Rakanoa. which was docked for cleaning and painting, will bo undocked to-day and berthed at tne Western Wh_arf for further overhaul before being recommissioned. The Kurow sailed on Saturday for WestPort, whore she will load a oargo of coal for a port not yet announced. Tho Wingatui is timed to sail at 5 p.m. to-day with general cargo for Wellington and Southern porta. The Katoa is to leave port this evening for Whangarei to load cement for the South. She will return to Auckland on Thursday morning and sail again in the evening for Southern ports. The Commonwealth and Dominion Lino steamer Port Darwin, which left Wellington on January 21. cleared Monte Video for London on Feoruary 12. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Hurunui is due at Wellington about Wednesday from Lyttelton to complete loading. She will sail about 10 days later for England.

The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Victor, which left Wellington on December 31, arrived at London on February 14.

The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer port Curtis was scheduled to leave Brisbane on Thursday, for Nelson, whoro she will commence loading for London. Sho will ako load at Wanganui and Wellington, and is timed to leave tho latter port about March 8. En route she will call at Hobart to load apples. The Manuka is due at Wellington from Sydney to-day and is to leave Wellington for Sydney on Thursday. The barque White Pine is due at Wellington with a oargo of Australian hardwood from Clarence River. The Federal steamer Somerset left Wellington on Friday afternoon for Lyttelton and Duncdin to complete dischargo of bor cargo from Liverpool. The Federal steamer Westmoreland is due at Wellington from Lyttelton this morning to complete loading for England. She is expected to sail on Thursday for London. The Government steamer Tutanekai. whjch has replaced tho Hinemoa in the liglithsusjs service, sailed from Wellington for Look Strait lighthouses on Thursday afternoon. According to a statement made in the House of Commons the Admiralty has disposed of over 1.000.000 tons of ships lor breaking-up in Britain and about 400,000 tons for breaking-up abroad, including over 200.000 tone to Germany. Tho Richardson steamer Mako left Napier at 6.15 p.m. on Friday for Auckland. HM S Voronica arrived last night from Lyttelton and berthed at the Sneerlcgs Wharf. . , ~ >~ The schooner Houto is .loading at the Albert Wharf and is to sail (or lauranga to-morrow. Tho Colonial Sugar steamer Fiona is expected to complete dischargo ol her cargo of raw sugar at Chelsea on ihursday, when sho will sail for Fiji to load another cargo of 6Ugar for Auckland.

RAMA BECOMMISSIONED. The Chatham Islands Fishing Company's Plainer Rama, which has been laid UP at Wellington smco January 13 on account ot a dispute regarding her stokehold complement, was recommissioncd on Baturday, when she was to sail for Lyttelton and Chatham Islands. CITY OF HANKOW REPORTED. The A. and A. steamer City of Hankow has reported by wirelese that sho will arrive from New York to-morrow. She will berth at tho Kings Wharf. NIAGARA DUE THIS MORNING. The R.M.S. Niagara is due from Sydney about 8 a.m. to-day. She will be medically inspected in the stream and will berth at the Queen's Wharf at about 9.15 a.m. to land her passengers and mails and also to load a quantity of outward cargo, bno la timed to sail for Vancouver, via Island ports, at 9 p.m. to-morrow.

RARAWA TO BE SLIPPEDThe Northern Company's steamer Rarawa is to go to Wellington this week for cleaning and painting. Sho will leave Onehunga on Wednesday afternoon and Now Plymouth on Thursday, arriving at Wellington on inday morning. She wi go on tne slip until waning, when sho will sail for New Plymouth at which port she will arrive and K on Saturday, February. 24, reaching Onehunga tho following morning.

THE TOFUA. The Island steamer Tofua, en route from Tonga arrived at Samoa on Thursday and sailed next day for Fiji and Auckland. She fs due at Suva to-day, and leaves there on Wednesday for Auckland, where she is due next Tuosday. MARAMA DUE ON THURSDAY. The R.M.S. Marama is duo at Wellington from San Francisco on Thursday with passengers, mails, and cargo. She will not continue her voyage to Sydney, but will stay at Wellington until her scheduled sailing date for San Francisco. Her through passengere will bo taken to Sydney by the Manuka, leaving Wellington on Thursday.

f THE ATHENIC. The Shaw-Savill and Albion Jiner Athenic is duo at Wellingtons 6 a.m. today with passengers and cargo from England. She will land her passengers and part of hor cargo at Wellington and then come to Auckland. At this port sho will complete discharge and then commence to oad cargo for England. She is expected to leave Weiington for Auckland at the end of the week From Auckland she will go to Oisborno and Wellington to complete loading.
