MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Hon. C. J. Parr, Minister for Education and Health, conferred on Saturday morning with representatives of the Auckland University College Counc:l and their architect, the subject being the new arts buildings. He also met the officers of the Health Department to consider the precautions at present being taken to guard against the introduction of disease from overseas,. Ihe Hon. G. J. Anderson, Minister for ' Labour and Mines, was engaged in departmental business on Saturday morning. He will leave this morning for Huntly, proceeding thence to Hamilton and on to Wellington. Th» Hon. J. 0. Coates, Minister lor Public Works, arrived at Paparoa on Saturday. He met representatives of the Coeaty Council and discussed county matters. He proceeded to Arapohuo and Dargaville yesterday, and will inspect the advance works on the Xorth Main Trunk railway from Kirikopuni southwards. Leaving Dargaville to-morrow, he will reach Paparoa on Wednesday, and will depart for Auckland by Thursday morning's express.
