LABOUR PARTY'S RESOLUTION.
APPROVAL- OP THE MOVEMENT. A meeting under the auspices of tho New Zealand Labour Party was held in the Strand Theatre last evening, Mr. J. A. Lee presiding. An address was given by Mr. H. E. Combs, secretary to • the Post and Telegraph Officers' Association, dealine with the question of salaries and the proposal that the association should join the Alliance of Labour. On the motion of Mr. M. J. Savage, M.P., seconded by Mr. F. N. Baitram, M.P., a resolution was passed recording hearty approval of the movement on the part of the Pobl and Telegraph Association to> make common causo with organised' labour for the purpose of raising the living standard of the wage and salary earners of the Dominion,
