The reappearance of this pair, suppor'.od by the rema.nder of the team, at the Waitemata Club's carnival in the Tepid Baths next . Tuesday evening is eagerly awaited. Miss Hoeft's special mission on this occasion will be to reduce her own New Zealand rocord of 67s for 100 yds, At she hm credited with swimming 100 yds in a handicap event at Wellington in 64 3-ss. it would causo no surprise to see hor lower Miss Faany Durack'a Australasian rocord of 663. In all probability thie will be Miss Hoeft'B last appearance in Auckland this season, as next Wcdncpdav she will commence » tour of the North Island, which will most.likely be followed by a visit by special invitation to Australia, PONSONBY CLUB. The Poneonby Swimming and Life Saving Club announces that entries for all events. inoludin, th.
