PLATTS MEMORIAL MEDAL.

The New Zealand Institute of Architects today passed a resolution recording deep regret at the death of Mr. W. Beauclianip Plaits, late secretary to the institute, and giving expression of their sense of indebtedness to him for his excellent ,-ervices, extending over 12 years. It was resolved to establish a Beaucliamp Platts memorial medal for competition for students. M r , E (■ (vhemaiHe, of Weiiingtoi was appointed secretary to the I institute.
