RETAIL GROCER& The first bowling match between Wholesale I and Retail Grocers was played on the Mount Eden ureen on Wednesday. An enjoyable afternoon was spent, and the visitors were loud in their praise of the green, which was in excellent order. The weather was fine in the morning, but rain fell early in •■he afternoon. It cleared later, but only permitted the finish of the 7th and Slh rounds. Part of the 9th round played will be completed to-morrow, together with the semi-finals and finals. In section A, E. Crowley (Tauranga No. 1) went through without a loss until he met Te Koa. skipped by his sou, Lionel Crowley, and went down by 21 to 10. To-day's results are:— ; SEVENTH ROUND.
