The Canndian Government steamer Canadian Importer, which left Auckland on Thursday, arrived at Sydney yesterday afternoon.

Sho is due here toward tho end of the month. THE R.M.S. NIAGARA. Tho R.M.S. Niagara is scheduled to lcavo Sydney to-morrow for Vancouvor, via Auckland and Island ports. She is duo horo on Monday morning, and is timed to 'Coiimo her voyage to Vancouver at 9 p.m. on Tuesday. RUAPEHU LEFT WELLINGTON. The Now Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruapehu, in continuation of her voyrg© from England, left Wellington for Auckland at 4 p.m. yesterday. Sho is duo hero about mid-day to-morrow and will berth at tho Queen's Wharf to discharge about 3000 tons of cargo from England and load produco for the United Kingdom.

PASSENGERS FOR ENGLAND. Passenger accommodation on tho Now Zealand Shipping Company'* linor Remuero. which is to loavo New Zealand for England about April 10, is now fully booked up. The company advise that . the Federal steamer Dorset will bo leaving Now Zealand for England about tho eurno timo as the Rcmuera and will carry passengers.

THE ORARI'S ITINERARY.

The New Zealand Shipping Company s steamer Orari. after discharging cargo from Montreal and New York at .New .Zealand ports, left Dunedin on Friday for Melbourne and Sydney to complete discharge. Sho will subsequently return to New Zealand to load for the United Kingdom. According to her itinerary sho is duo at Napier about March 8, and from there she wil visit Tokomaru .Bay and Auckland to complete loading. This will be her final port and she is timed to leavo about March 22 for London.

ULIMAROA DUE AT 8 P.M. The Huddart-Pn.rkor stoamer UWm&roa has reported by wireless that she wi.i arrivo from Sydney at 8 p.m. to-day. After medical inspection she will berth on tho west side of the King's Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. She is timed to sail for Sydney at noon on Friday.

THE REMUERA. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's linor Remuera, which is due at Auckland with passengers and cargo from Southampton on March 15, will complete discharge at Port Chalmcra on March 81. She will ' commence loading produce for England at Lyttelton on April 1 and at Wellington on April 5, and will leave Wellington for Southampton and London on MarchJX). j

THE OPAWA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Opawa is due from Russell on t riday morning and wil berth at the Queeris Wharf to complete loading. Sho will be despatched from Auckland for London about the middle of next week. BIG SHIPPING DEAL. News was received in Sydney by the English mail on February 1 of a big shipping deal Messrs. Walter Runciman and Co, have purchased a fleet of, largo steamers now building on the Tyne and Wear, for delivery oarlv this year. Tho prico is said, to be about pre-war figuros. Tho vessels are intended for tho Eastern, Australian, and Pacific trados.
