HARTAL IN NATIVE QUARTER. VISIT TO THE TAJ MAHAL. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Eeod. 7.30 p.m.) DELHI, Feb. 14. During a short visit to Agra, the Prince of Wales received a hearty welcome from Europeans and many Indians, chiefly country folk and children, but in the nativo quarter a complete hartal was observed. Everything passed quietly, the police preventing any attempt at a hostile demonstration.

On the way to Agra the Prince broke his journey at Fatehpur Sikri and witnessed natives diving into a great well from a height of 90 feet He also visited the famous. Taj Mahal and tested the echoes in the inner tomb. The Prince leaves for Delhi to-morrow.
