ROWING.
AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIPS.
The Auckl ind Rowing Association has arranged an interesting programme of rowing events in connection with the aquatic carnival to be held at the Cheltenham Beach this afternoon, under the auspices of the Cheltenham Aqiutic .Sports Society. All the rowing events will be held under the Auckland Rowing Association and ftew Zealand Amateur Rowing Association rules. The following is the programme :-Youths' fours, one mile, Nash Cup: maiden double sculls, one mile, Farmer Cup: maiden fours (lOst and under), one mile. Mrs. J. Clarko's Shield; Mcllwrlith Cup, nor-class four, one mile; maidf.n fours (open), one mile; junior fours (open), one and a-half milesj Searle Cup. Following will be the officials:— Starter. Mr. W. G. Mason: judjus, Messrs. W. Mcllwrailh and G. H. Reston; stewards. Messrt A. Wilson and A. Hunter; clork o! scales, Mr. E H Buckler.
