SITUATION IN BELFAST.
MILITARY REGULATIONS.
HOOLIGANISM THE EVIL. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Jan. 8. Maior-General Cameron, military commander of Belfast, informed a York Street deputation to-day that be regretted that the Ulster Government did not possess a special law for 'dealing with disorder itself. In its absence the military had to make regulations for the restoration of order. He did not think that there was a great political feud in Belfast. The casualties were about equal on both sides. The trouble was mainly hooliganism.
