The bottom has dropped out of the stock market boom, and frenzied buyers of last week are now trying to unload with equal fervour. Prices have tumbled, and there are ugly rumours of impending failures. The. failure'of the Allgemeine Bank of Diißseldorf caused public confidence to be badly shaken, especially in view of the recent failure of the Palatinate Bank. Other interests in southern and western Germany are known to be in difficulties. MARK FALLS AGAIN. DOWN TO 800 TO POUND Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 1.35 p.m.) LONDON", Dec. 13. Exchange on Berlin was quoted to-day at 800 marks to the pound sterling, as against 690 marks yesterday.
