N.S. WALES MINISTRY.

SIR G. FULLER AND GOVERNOR NO DECISION ANNOUNCED. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Seed. 9.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 14. Sir George Fuller, Leader of the New South Wales Nationalist Party, called on the Governor to-day, but refused to make any statement to the press. The Progressive Party held two meetings without arriving at a decision respecting its attitude in the event of Sir George Fuller being commissioned to form a Cabinet. The Legislative Assembly met and immediately adjourned until to-morrow. When the Government failed in its efforts to secure a candidate for the much-hawked Speakership of the Assembly, women took a hand in the matter. A deputation of 18 waited on Dr. Arthur, a Nationalist and supporter of the Motherhood Endowment Bill, and asked him to sacrifice himself to secure the parsing of the Motherhood Endowment Bill, and incidentally thereby to save the Government from defeat. Dr. Arthur declined martyrdom, not only because he considered the prospects of the Bill were not bright, but because they were asking him to sink his principles and consign himself to political contempt and oblivion to save a Government which was the most reckless, irresponsible, and dangerous there had ever been in New South Wales.
